It's the most fun I've ever had on a golf course.
I had the privilage of playing at Royal Dornoch in July 2011 and I'm still on a high when I think of the great experience it was. I live in Oregon and have played the great courses at Bandon Dunes and must say that Dornoch is without doubt the greatest course I've ever played......I hope I have the opportunity to play it again......your staff was fantastic!
The best golf course to play in Europe and now matched a very good informative web site. Well done.
The most remarkable golf course ever, loved it does not express my feelings for this course! This must be one of the finest places on the planet. This is true golf, how it was played and how it should be played. A true part of golf history.
I played the championship course on 16 March 2011. After a brief frost scare that I wouldn't be able to play, I had one of the most enjoyable rounds ever. Having played Royal County Down, Carnoustie, Turnberry, Pinehurst #2, and Bethpage Black, among others, I can say that Royal Dornoch has immediately gone to the top of my list of favorite courses. Every hole is challenging and memorable and I would encourage anyone who cares to play the best courses in the world to make the trek to Dornoch.
I've been lucky enough to play many magnificent golf courses over the years - both at home in Scotland and overseas. I'm finding it difficult to remember many - if indeed any - that surpass the Championship Course at RDGC. Breathtaking.
I would just like to say it was a great honour and a wonderful experience to play your track. We were four guys from Sweden. Golf course was so fun and challenging to play so you do not want it to end, a big thank you to your caddies.
