We are delighted that Michael Carr joined us in early 2009 in the role of Executive Chef. Michael has a marvellous pedigree and comes from running his own restaurants for over 20 years and with his talent these establishments were continuously listed in the Good Food Guide. In conjunction with his wife, Kerenza, he ran the highly acclaimed 2 Quail restaurant in Dornoch and such were the reviews he achieved 2 AA Rosettes. After the pressure of running his own business joining Royal Dornoch has given Michael more time to concentrate on his cooking and the style and quality of what he and his team produces has met with worldwide approval.

Here in the Highlands we are fortunate in that our local produce is top quality, is much sought after and exported around the world. The vast majority of our dishes are locally sourced and all our menu items are freshly prepared in house.

Catering Hours :

Bacon rolls & coffee from 10.00am, Bistro Menu from 12 Noon, Restaurant Menu from 7pm to 9.30pm
Additionally meals may be provided earlier or later with pre-booking.
